Fantastic service and great price! I came in late on a Friday after work and the kind owner managed to repair my bike tire within 15 minutes. Very happy with my experience I will come back again if anything else on my bike needs repairing!

I have never met such a sincere and sweet person as Sam. Besides being absolutely phenomenal at fixing my bike, he is the nicest person I have met in a very long time, and I felt 100% in safe hands.
I can only recommend him, and I will only go to him in the future if I have problems with a bike!☺️🚲

Sam is absolutely lovely, his bikes are perfectly maintained, and he's always available if there's a problem (which we didn't have). We rented 5 bikes (parents and children) and everything went perfectly from start to finish. We are delighted and recommend him 1000%!

We had an excellent experience at this bike shop. The service was outstanding — professional, flexible, and truly customer-oriented. The bikes are in top condition, clearly well-maintained and cared for. On top of that, the owner is an incredibly friendly and genuine person who clearly loves what he does. I can’t recommend this place highly enough 😊

Best customer service I’ve ever experienced! The owner, Sam, is an absolute sweetheart — he deserves at least 10 out of 5 stars. Your bike will be fixed by truly professional hands, and it’ll be done perfectly. The quality of the work, the friendliness of the master, and the price are all amazing. He also works incredibly fast — you can pick up your bike the same day (the same hour, in my case!). I’m not going anywhere else if I ever have bike problems again, and neither should you.
He even let me hang around the workshop while he was fixing what needed to be done and patiently answered all my questions. My curious ass learned a lot about bike mechanics and maintenance — that was a real treat. Thanks a lot, Sam!!

I have been a regular customer at Star Bike for several years. Always incredibly good service. When I moved the other day to another place in Nørrebro, I had my bike repaired somewhere else for the first time. It ended up that I had a tire that was too big fitted so my bike "jumped". I went past Sam, who said he was sorry that I had received poor service elsewhere, and had my bike fixed so it ran ok again. Price? FREE. From now on I will always come back no matter where I live 🙂 Best bike shop in Copenhagen!!

Highly recommended bike shop, we came to the shop owner to rent bikes for our week here.

If I were to single out one memorable experience from my trip to Copenhagen, I would mention meeting Sam without hesitation. He was extremely accommodating, even though he didn't have any bikes available, he somehow managed to get us two and with that gesture significantly improved our trip. Thanks to him, we had the opportunity to experience the city in its full, local glory. Highly recommended for renting bikes here, the least you will get is a pleasant conversation and a smile from ear to ear.

What a lovely human Sam is. I felt like I could easily call him if I'd had any trouble, which I didn't. My bike was beautiful, rode smoothly with no problems, and cost less to rent than most other shops in the area. And Sam kindly offered me a helmet on the house. I would easily recommend him and his shop to anyone. Honest, genuine, and friendly man. Even if his prices go up, I would keep going back. It's experiences like this that remind you how important it is to keep supporting small businesses 🌻

Nothing short of fantastic service. Came in just before closing time with a flat bike, and it was really busy. Still, Sam asked me to take a seat in the armchair while he fixed my bike so that it would be ready for me to cycle to work tomorrow. He explained what he was doing and what I should be aware of, and made an effort to adjust the tire and tube so that everything was in place as it should be. Of course, I also had a good chat and a handful of filled chocolates, absolutely perfect. There's something to be said when they call him "The World's Best Cyclist"! Best service I've had in a long time, and the repair was pretty cheap on top of that! Would give 6 stars if I could.

Sam is one of the few true originals left in the Copenhagen bike scene. He always puts the customer experience first and treats every bicycle with genuine care. Sadly, that’s not something you can say about many other bike shops in Copenhagen, where it too often feels like they take advantage of customers’ lack of technical knowledge.

Every time I leave Star Bike I’m blown away by the great energi and service Sam gives.
He’s always personal, and I think his prices are very fair.
He is also always very fast with repairs, and very often I can pick my bike up the same day!

Star bike is amazing! The owner Sam is so kind and so incredibly helpful! I would recommend him to anyone looking to rent or fix a bike in Copenhagen. He treated me like his own daughter and he is the coolest bike dad in town. If I could give 100 stars I absolutely would! Best bike shop in town!

Super service. I came in with a flat rear tire and he was able to fix it right away. I was asked to sit down and was treated to soda, chocolate and his wife's homemade food. Both the tire and tube had to be changed and after 1/2 hour it was done and everything was lubricated :-). And it was cheaper than when I had the same thing done 6 years ago! With a specific tire brand. I can only recommend him warmly. Both service and quality are top notch.

Sam is the absolute best bike repair man with the absolute biggest heart in the entire city! No one beats his service or his incredible kindness and generosity of spirit. Just the experience of receiving the loving energy in his shop is enough but on top of that he’ll make your bike feel like new, no matter the condition. Star Bike is worth the trip no matter where you live in Copenhagen, seriously!

We rented two touring bikes for four days and the cost per bike was only 10€/day. Much cheaper than in other stores and for bikes in very good condition, practically new and revised.
Sam was very attentive and friendly at all times, everything was easy from the moment we entered the store.

The best place in Copenhaghen for bike repairs. Sam is the nicest guy, he is very skilled and he always found time to help me with my bike. He has repaired mine and my partners bike a couple of times and we love them. We have been goig to his store ever since we moved here.

When choosing to embark on two wheels for the first, or 100th time, it is hard to look past the smile of Sam from Star Bike. I thought I was given an E Bike, but I later realised I was energised by the purity of joy and encouragement that Sam outputs in his customer service, and friendly demeanour. The shop is cozy, and feels like a cabin, and it is where you’ll find a professional wizard bike mechanic working away at anything that rolls.
And above all, Star Bike has the most competitive price of any bike rental. 24hrs is 70DKR. Much better than the “competition” that offer double the price for a lesser decent bike.
Sam, you’re the man. Keep people smiling, keep people rolling. 10/5 stars.
